Well it has been a long time, yes indeed. I have decided...again...to make this a diet/healthy eating/looking after myself blog. That includes moisturising, eating more vegetables, cutting out the junk food especially the fast food. It should be a treat. I figured it's about time that I actually take care of myself, I am on the wrong side of the 20's after all. Plus I told my friend that I would help her stick to her own healthy living. We will both update the blogs every day with food intake and exercise routines, yes indeed.
Any support anyone wants to offer is very welcome. Haters, however, will be ignored. This is my choice and I may not be perfect but at least I am trying to improve myself and if you have nothing nice to say then say nothing at all. Or better yet before you decide to slate me, take a long hard look at your own life and figure out if you are really that much better. Sorry to those non haters, that was just my mini rant.
Anyhoo...today was day one. I had a homemade choc muffin for breakfast (bad I know), then a foot long wheat bread sub with turkey and ham and plenty of salad, which I never finished along with a bottle of water. I then had an iced coffee. When I got home I had like 8 Sao crackers with butter and cheese and about half a bag of Red Rock Deli salt and vinegar chips. Not the best start but it's better than what I could have done. I may have a Skinny Cow ice cream before bed however, they are 97% fat free :)
I have also decided that when I want soft drink I will drink Coke Zero. I used to have a can or two of Diet Coke a week when I was on the Atkins, it helped with the sugar cravings and Coke Zero has even less sugar than Diet Coke. So water to drink and Zero when I need sweetness.
Took photos last night of myself and I am not liking what is looking back at me so much anymore so now is the time to change my ways.
Here's hoping. I am aiming to lose 2stone (12.7kg) and to build better muscle tone. Must buy a new set of scales. I am also aiming to get comfortably back into my skinny jeans.
Anyway, that's enough of that
Vicky
