Yesterday at Hervey Bay

Myself, Garth and Michael all headed down to Hervey Bay on the bus but I can safely say it was a bad food day.

Breakfast was about three chocolate drop things and like two ICM's with choc chips (rice krispie squares).


Whole reason we went to the Bay was because Rock Off had a sale on and I wanted to spend some cash. I bought myself a whole new outfit and new hair dye which I will get round to using soonish.

I love sales and I love my new outfit which actually works on so many different levels and goes with pretty much my whole wardrobe. Oh and I finally have a pair of high tops and they are Demonia which is just grand.

After I spent ages in Rock Off, I went to catch up with the boys for lunch. I had a tuna and crackers thing, was pretty yummy. Also had like three fruit mentos. We walked from Rock Off up to the nearest take away store. I can't go to the beach and not buy myself fish and chips. So I did, and it was delish. Washed it down with a bottle of Coke Zero.

Once we had all eaten, the boys sat throwing cold chips at the ibis's, stupid birds don't even realise when people are hitting them with stuff. Oh, highlight of my day, well apart from the new outfit and the fact that the skirt is loose, I hand fed a bird. It hopped onto the bench and just kinda looked at me, so I broke a bit of my fish apart and handed it to the bird, he sorta looked at me, hopped closer then leaned in and took the food. It was awesome.

Before I went for a paddle in the water, I had a mini lamington and a choc/vanilla chuppa chup. I do love the beach though, ten minutes with my feet in the water and I felt amazing. Most definitely my happy place.

Oh, while we were waiting on the bus home we saw flats for rent that are literally right across from the beach, have a foodworks next door, an indian restaurant and are right next to Rock Off. I happened to mention I would be a very happy girl living that close to the sea. Garth then asked me for my phone, and phoned the company asking about how much they were. Turns out they are only $190 a week. Might arrange a viewing, seems too good to be true. They are probably shoe boxes. Incidentally, I really really need to get my driving lessons started.

Anyhoo, got home and had dinner which was a tuna and cheese sandwich and like half a pack of ritz crackers with light french onion dip. It was definitely a treat type day. Must do better.

Anyway, that's enough of that.
